作品使用約 17 × 13 cm 的長方形布片。摺線整理得越清楚，翅膀的輪廓也會更加俐落。

From fabric rectangle to butterfly

Begin with an approximately 17 × 13 cm rectangle. Neat folds help define the butterfly wings.

先將布片對摺

整理布片邊緣，先建立蝴蝶中央與翅膀的基本摺線。

Fold the fabric

Align the edges and establish the basic folds for the center and wings.

展開並整理層次

將布片展開，讓兩側慢慢形成對稱的翅膀輪廓。

Open and arrange

Open the folded piece and arrange both sides into symmetrical wings.

翻面、折角並整燙

將角往上整理，再以熨斗固定摺線，完成蝴蝶的立體輪廓。

Turn, fold, and press

Lift and arrange the corners, then press the folds to finish the dimensional shape.

蝴蝶中央與翅膀的摺角範圍較小，小熨斗較容易靠近細部位置，也方便看清楚摺線。將摺線輕輕固定，完成後的輪廓會更加俐落。
