Attach, position and set your seam allowance

Magnetic attachment

Attach to a suitable magnetic area of the needle plate. Reposition the base to adjust the distance from the needle to the guide surface.

Use the needle plate markings as a reference, then measure from the needle to the guide surface to confirm your seam allowance.

Support for straight seams and curves

Keep the edge lightly against the guide and turn the fabric gradually. Slow down around inward and outward curves for easier handling.

Stop the machine and set the seam allowance. Keep clear of the needle, presser foot and feed dogs.
