About the Project

Inspired by the turning pages of a book, this organizer arranges multiple zippered pockets in easy-to-browse layers. Separate compartments keep small belongings sorted and visible, making the finished project suitable for charging cables, earphones, USB drives, stationery, cards, and other appropriately sized everyday essentials.

Clear Label Window and Pen Loop

A clear window on the inside cover holds a category label or reminder card for quick identification. The nearby pen loop keeps a frequently used pen in place, while the open panel can be organized for stationery, planner accessories, or travel essentials.

Dimensions and Pattern Note

The finished organizer measures approximately 35 cm wide × 17 cm high when fully opened, as shown in the reference image. Final dimensions may vary slightly depending on fabric thickness, sewing method, and individual workmanship.

Materials and Hardware to Prepare

The following hardware is suggested for making the project and is not included with this pattern:

Four 6-inch antique-brass teardrop zippersOne zipper for each of the four separate storage compartments.

One 14 mm silver rivet magnetic snapFor the closure; the required setting tool must also be prepared separately.

Fabric and notionsPrepare your own exterior fabric, lining, batting/interfacing, clear vinyl, and other required supplies.

Basic sewing toolsA sewing machine, cutting and marking tools, and hardware-setting tools are required.
