Meet Mr. Crocodile Mr. Crocodile keeps pencils, colored pencils and everyday stationery neatly together. His round eyes, long tail and smart patchwork jacket turn a practical pencil case into a characterful handmade companion.
The design is shown in green, pink and blue colorways. Yarn-dyed and cotton fabrics give each version its own personality, while the oversized eyes, tiny nostrils, scarf, legs and tail add playful dimension.

Soft Fabric Claws The white triangular claws are a signature detail. They look pointy but are made from soft fabric, while the little arms and legs give the flat pencil case a lively, dimensional silhouette.
A Head That Really Turns The standout feature is the turning head. Whether the pencil case is lying flat, facing sideways or sitting nearby, you can adjust the head so those wide eyes keep looking your way. Turning the head also reveals the zipper construction on the back.

Easy-Access Zipper Storage A zipper of approximately 14 cm runs along the back, opening to a compartment for pencils, colored pencils, pens and similarly sized items. The approximately 18 cm storage body tapers from the wider head end toward the tail, preserving the complete crocodile shape without giving up useful space.

What You Will Learn The padded body introduces useful techniques for sewing a zipper through layered fabric. The triangular sleeves should be marked carefully from the pattern before stitching, and the hands, feet and claws need to be matched to the correct left and right sides for a clean finish.
Eye placement has a big effect on the final expression. After tracing the pattern, allow enough working room for stitching so the eyes stay rounded and balanced. Follow the video tutorial filmed by teacher Tsai Mei-Chen and replay any detailed step as needed.

Size and Colorways The finished piece measures approximately 35 cm long and 15 cm across at its widest point. With the head turned aside, the body measures about 30 cm from the neck to the tail. The usable compartment is about 18 cm long, with a 14 cm zipper, tapering from approximately 5.5 cm wide at the head end to 3.5 cm near the tail.
The design is pictured in Green HAD-099-G, Pink HAD-099-R and Blue HAD-099-B. Both the front and back retain the full crocodile silhouette and patchwork details.
